Race packs will be posted week commencing Monday 4th February. If you transfer your place or receive a transfer after race numbers have been posted then you must pass on the number. Transfers will close midnight on Sunday 10th Feb.
Please pay close attention to the new parking arrangements that were sent with your number and in the emailed race instructions.

With over 20 years of loyal support of the Village Bakery we continue to bring you this fast, flat and chip-timed half. Starting on Dunster Road and finishing at 'The Club House' Oak Road on Wrexham Industrial Estate, this classic race is popular with some of the fastest runners in the region as well as those tackling the distance for the first time. It is a well marshalled course with plenty of support and drink stations.
£300.00 cash for 1st, £200.00 for 2nd & £100.00 for 3rd Open male and female as well as cash prizes for 1st place in Vet Categories. Team prize for 1st Male and Female Teams as
well as the tasty traditional Welsh baked goodies for all finishers courtesy of the
Village Bakery Wrexham. Look out for the 2019 new bespoke finishers medal. We will have temporary road closures and an increased parking for the 2019 event.This race always sells out well in advance so register
early.
Free entry to elite runners who have posted a 1.10 or quicker half (men) or 1.20 half (women), 2.30 or quicker marathon (men) or 2.50 (women) in 2017/2018. Please contact us for consideration or with details of other times at the other classic distances.
Due to the time of year and responsibility to our marshals we have a cut off time of 2hrs 45mins. A sweep vehicle will be following the runners at this pace and you may be asked to board at 10 miles if it is clear you will not make the cut off point.
Headphones are not allowed during this race in accordance with UK Athletics rules as the course does not have a full road closure with the exception of bone conducting headphones.
Entrants must be 17 and over on race day. Entry cost is £17.00 for UKA Affiliated Runners and £19.00 for non-UKA affiliated runners until 1st April 2018 when the price will increase to £19/£21.
The race will again incorporate the North Wales Half Marathon championships and we will again add additional cash prizes for the top three men and women.
Qualification:
You can transfer your place to another runner at no extra cost up until and including Sunday 10th February 2019. After that date we are unable to carry out any more transfers.
We are unable to offer refunds or deferrals. We reserve the right to amend the refund policy should the race again become oversubscribed.
