We'd love to see you again at our 2018 Summer 10k and Barclays Kids 1km fun run on Sunday 17th June at Colshaw Hall Country Estate near Knutsford, WA16 8TW.  The race starts in the shadow of this beautiful grade II listed building in the Cheshire Village of Over Peover.  The race snakes through closed leafy country lanes passing the iconic Lovell telescope at Jodrell Bank. Runners will then return to Colshaw Hall for a stunning finish along the tree lined driveway.

Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd open male and female and vouchers for 1st place in Vet Categories.  Team prize for 1st Male and Female Teams. Entries on the day will be accepted (subject to the race entry limit being reached) with a £2.00 surcharge on top of the regular entry fee. There will be a drink station at the 5km point with plenty of food, refreshments and goodies at the finish line not to mention the huge bespoke medal for all finishers for which the race has now become famous.

The race is UKA licenced and we will again be using the most up to date chip-timing with finish line footage and social media integration. All runners will have to complete the race under 1 hour and 30 mins to allow the roads to be reopened. Anyone still on the course after that will become a 'prudent pedestrian' and join the footpaths back to the finish.

Entrants must be 15 and over on race day.  Entry fee for the 10k is £17.00 for UKA affiliated runners and £19.00 for non-affiliated runners. We have held the price for the fourth year running.

Entry for the fun run is £5.00 and every penny goes to the Barclays nominated charity Retrak.  A locally based charity who are tackling global child poverty.

The fun run is aimed at 4 to 14 year olds and the emphasis is getting active so the run is not timed.  Accompanying adults must register online too.  All finishers receive a medal and Barclays goody bag. The fun run takes place at approximately 10.10am.

Due to the limit of the road closure runners need to complete the 10k in 1.30 or less.  Anyone on the course after that will become a 'prudent pedestrian' and will have to move onto he pavement to allow vehicles back on the road.
