We'd love to see you again at our 2017 Summer 10k on Sunday 25th June at Colshaw Hall Country Estate near Knutsford, WA16 8TW. The race starts in the shadow of this beautiful grade II listed building in the Cheshire Village of Over Peover. The race snakes through closed leafy country lanes passing the iconic Lovell telescope at Jodrell Bank. Runners will then return to Colshaw Hall for a stunning finish along the tree lined driveway.
Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd open male and female and vouchers for 1st place in Vet Categories. Team prize for 1st Male and Female Teams. Entries on the day will be accepted (subject to the race entry limit being reached) with a £2.00 surcharge on top of the regular entry fee. There will be a drink station at the 5km point with plenty of food, refreshments and goodies at the finish line not to mention the huge bespoke medal for all finishers for which the race has now become famous.
The race is UKA licenced and we will again be using the most up to date chip-timing with finish line footage and social media integration. All runners will have to complete the race under 1 hour and 30 mins to allow the roads to be reopened. Anyone still on the course after that will become a 'prudent pedestrian' and join the footpaths back to the finish.
Entrants must be 16 and over on race day. Entry fee for the 10k is £17.00 for UKA affiliated runners and £19.00 for non-UKA runners. The early bird price of £15.00 and £17.00 is valid until 23.55 on Monday 31st October.
Barclays Kids 1k Fun Run
Our Barclays Kids 1k Fun Run will start at approx 10.10am when the 10k is well under way. This fun event is being supported and staffed by the fantastic people at Barclays with all finishers receiving a Barclays goodie bag and medal. There will be no winners prizes or timing as the emphasis is on children between 4 and 11 having fun and getting active. All of the proceeds will go to the Boystown Orphanage in Manila.
It will take place wholly within the grounds of Colshaw Hall. Any accompanying adults need to register online too.
You can transfer your place to another runner at no extra cost up until Monday 12th June at 23.55, however we do not offer refunds or deferrals. There will be no facility to transfer on the day.
